Who we are
Thirty years of showing up
We're the all-volunteer crew that throws inclusive, queer-centered events across the Inland Northwest — year-round, and always for everyone.
Our mission
Welcoming, engaging & accessible to all.
Spokane Pride is dedicated to organizing and hosting inclusive, queer-centered events throughout the Inland Northwest year-round.
We create meaningful spaces for celebration, connection and advocacy — and we support fellow LGBTQIA2S+ organizations with event infrastructure and promotional resources along the way.
Our story
Marching since 1992
Since 1992, Spokane's LGBTQIA2S+ community has gathered to commemorate the Stonewall Uprising of 1969. The first local march was organized by Spokane PFLAG.
What began as sidewalk gatherings grew into permitted street parades with rallies — and today into a full season of festivals, performances, retreats and advocacy across the Inland Northwest. Everyone is welcome here.
Community agreements
The commitments behind every event
As an organization, we hold ourselves to six agreements so that Pride lives up to its promise for everyone.
